  • Hear different perspectives from fellow alumns who have integrated sustainability as a core value driver in their day-to-day operations
  • Gain insight into the ESG regulatory landscape including CSRD, SFDR and IFRS Sustainability reporting requirements
  • Join a discussion about best-practice ESG strategies for various sectors (from technology to manufacturing)
  • Build a network among KEY ESG and HBS's sustainability leaders

About the panellists:

Lina Ruiz - Director of Social Responsibility, WeTransfer

Lina is the Director of Social Responsibility at WeTransfer and has over a decade of experience in sustainability, social impact, and Tech for Good. Since she took the helm at WeTransfer in 2020, Lina has been key for the company's expanding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) efforts, helping the business achieve climate neutral and B Corp certifications.  Lina has cemented WeTransfer’s active role as a business that meets high environmental and social impact standards; while growing a healthy and diverse creative community through partnerships and collaborations.

She has previously worked at Fairphone, a Dutch electronics manufacturer that designs smartphones with people and the planet in mind, leading campaigns and events. She led the launch of Fairphone 3 and ran a crowd equity campaign that raised €2.5 million.

Lina is passionate about collaborating with disrupters and changemakers and is eager to build purposeful businesses that push the boundaries of sustainability and technology. Her unique background adds distinctive value through business development, strategy, operations, and communications.

Alice Steenland - Chief Strategy, Sustainability & Marketing Officer, Signify

Alice brings 20+ years of experience as a senior executive and board member in the sustainability space, focusing on finance, investment, and innovative business models across all sectors of the economy. She brings a broad systems perspective, having held full time or advisory positions in large multinationals, NGOs, ratings agencies, consulting firms, start ups and multi-laterals, working in both the US and Europe on projects with global impact.

She is currently Chief Strategy, Sustainability & Marketing Officer and Member of the Leadership team at Signify. Alice was previously the first Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) at both AXA and Dassault Systemes, after having started her career in consulting.

Alice holds a MBA from Yale School of Management and a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University.

Sahar Rashidbeigi - Global Head of Decarbonisation, APM Terminals

Sahar is the Global Head of Decarbonisation at APM Terminals. She leads APM Terminals’ ambitious program to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across all terminal sites through a range of solutions that will fundamentally change the asset and energy consumption footprint of the terminal operator over the next two decades. Sahar has spent most of the past decade with McKinsey & Company, advising countries and corporate entities on navigating the transition to renewable energy. Sahar is a civil engineer by training and also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Heleen van Poecke - Co-founder and CEO, KEY ESG

Heleen started her career as a Private Equity professional for AlpInvest before gaining tech industry experience for a rapidly scaling SaaS business, Collibra; she then spent five years at AtlasInvest before co-founding KEY ESG. Heleen combines her PE and software experience as CEO of KEY ESG to address the challenges posed by evolving regulation and historic data collection methods with an automated, tech-enabled ESG management tool. Heleen holds a Masters in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Anne-Marie Schoonbeek - Co-founder and COO, KEY ESG

Anne-Marie Schoonbeek is a former management consultant at McKinsey New York, has a Legal degree in European Law from the University of Ghent and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She shapes ESG regulations as a working group member at leading advisory associations on ESG such as EFRAG and XBRL.

In her role as Co-founder and COO of KEY ESG, Anne-Marie advises both companies and investors on ESG and sustainability reporting and regulatory compliance. She also shapes regulations as a working group member at leading advisory associations on ESG. She has a detailed understanding of best-practices around new data requirements and data collection and reporting.
